Location: Yalla Surf Shop, Taghazout, Morocco
By booking or participating in any surf-related activities offered by Yalla Surf Shop — including surf lessons, surfboard/wetsuit rentals, guided sessions, or any services promoted through our partners — you agree to the Terms & Conditions below. These conditions protect participants, sponsors, agencies, advertisers, partners, and our team. Please read carefully.
1. Acceptance of Risk
Surfing involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Physical injuries (cuts, sprains, sunburn, drowning)
Accidents caused by wave conditions, currents, rocks, reefs, or other surfers
Equipment-related injuries (surfboards, fins, leashes)
Exposure to natural elements (sun, heat, marine life)
By participating, you acknowledge that:
You fully understand and accept these risks
You are physically fit and able to swim confidently in ocean conditions
You take full responsibility for your personal safety and behavior in the water
Yalla Surf Shop, its instructors, owners, employees, affiliates, sponsors, advertisers, and partner agencies will not be held liable for injuries, loss, or damage resulting from the natural risks of surfing and ocean activities.
2. Assumption of Responsibility
All participants must:
Follow the instructor’s safety instructions at all times
Inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, or limitations before the session
Use all provided equipment responsibly and as instructed
Understand that sea conditions may change quickly; our team makes final safety decisions
Failure to follow instructions or reckless behavior may result in termination of the session without refund.
3. Age & Supervision
Surf lessons are open to persons aged 6 and above
Participants under 18 must have written consent from a parent or guardian
Minors must be accompanied by an adult or supervised by our team
4. Equipment Use & Liability
When renting equipment from Yalla Surf Shop:
You are responsible for returning it in the same condition
You are liable for any loss, theft, or damage
Repair or replacement fees may apply in case of negligence or misuse
Please check your equipment before entering the water and request help if needed.
5. Weather & Ocean Conditions
Your safety is our priority. Activities may be rescheduled, shortened, or cancelled in case of:
Unsafe wave or weather conditions
Strong currents or high swell
Lightning or beach closure alerts
Official safety warnings
If we cancel due to safety, you may reschedule or receive a full refund.
6. Insurance & Personal Belongings
Yalla Surf Shop does not provide personal injury or travel insurance
We strongly recommend insurance that covers water sports and ocean injuries
We are not responsible for personal items lost, damaged, or stolen in the shop or on the beach
7. Health Declaration & Release
By participating, you confirm that:
You are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs
You do not suffer from a condition that makes surfing unsafe
You release Yalla Surf Shop, its owners, instructors, employees, advertising partners, sponsoring brands, booking agents, and affiliated business collaborators from liability for injuries, damages, or losses, except in cases of proven gross negligence
You may be required to sign a waiver form before starting your activity.
8. Bookings, Payments & Cancellations
Full payment or deposit may be required to secure a booking
Cancellations must be made 24+ hours in advance to be eligible for a refund
No-shows or late cancellations are non-refundable (unless in exceptional cases)
If we cancel due to unsafe conditions, you may reschedule or receive a refund
Bookings made via third-party travel agencies, advertisers, booking platforms, or sponsors must follow their separate policies where applicable.
9. Photography, Media & Promotional Use
During activities, we may take photos or videos for:
Social media
Website
Advertising campaigns
Partner or sponsor promotions
Tourism agencies and booking platforms
If you prefer not to appear in photos or videos, please inform us before the session begins.
10. Third-Party Partners, Agencies & Sponsors
By participating, you acknowledge that:
Yalla Surf Shop may collaborate with advertisers, booking agencies, influencers, travel partners, hotels, tour operators, sponsors, or corporate partners
These parties are not liable for injuries, property loss, or damages related to surf activities
Any promotions, discounts, or offers provided through partners are subject to their own terms
You authorize Yalla Surf Shop to share booking details with trusted partners only for operational or marketing purposes, in compliance with local privacy laws
